I just ordered a blocker plate for my LBZ and I have been wondering about performance gains if any. Were your gains immidiately noticable?

I didn't notice any performance gain by just blocking the EGR...but it will help keep the gunk out of your engine.

You will see gains if your tune is comanding more than stock boost. The egr blows open around 25-26 psi, the blocker lets you build the comanded boost usually around 30-32 with most tunes.

With my EGR Delete most claim to gain about two MPG and it is noticable by the seat of your pants without changing your tune so if you change yourtune it will be even more.

Kicked my truck in the ass with Tony's EGR delete, did a new EFI tuning session on dyno after the delete and now it's making all that turbo wants and really helped my MPG if it stays down in speed. I had it blocked only before and it was just OK. Do it right and get Tony's kit. It fits and works, just take your time and it will work for you it will be worth the cost and time to install or have a good mechanic do it if you are not wanting to do it. That's maybe a good summary for my results.
