I am from Florida and don't see to any temps below 30℉. I am looking to take my 05 cc/sb to PA and VA on vacation in the next week. What should I look for before going? Lol glow plugs come to mind. Any help would be appreciated.

Its not that cold up here to worry about anything you will be fine. Throw some winter additive in it and you're good.

Just get a tank of fuel for up north, and you should be fine as long as it's a big station they treat their diesel in the winter..I usually don't worry about it unless it's going to be really cold.

Don't worry about the truck. It has been in the low single didgets since Dec and my truck starts every time i also don't treat the fuel

It's -8* right now here. Starts no problem every time. Even when its not plugged in. VA isn't as cold.

Not starting a glow plug discussion :)

Just let the motor warm up for a while. I wait for at least 100*
