Tony at ridge runner is one...I think I have heard of atleast one more. Your options will be pretty limited if that's what you are basing your tuner off of.

Not at all, I'm not saying if I get a built motor and all that entails I'd expect free updates. Just it would be nice if I'm making small changes to not get charged for minute changes.

Dustin at Diesel Addiction. You want someone that will listen to your input and go from there. It's your truck and should drive how you want in to.

He's done mine a few times, I can't seem to stop upgrading fuel and air. :)

dustin at diesel addiction offers free updates. Most tuners will re-tune for free as long as you are buying your turbos/injectors from them.

When did this happen? I switched from stock trans tunes to built trans tunes and got charged. I recently changed 2 tuned on my dsp5 tune and was charged....

We have always offered free updates to the original purchaser.

:thumb:

As Tony said free updates and yes not just with small changes. Even with your built motor and most shops only offer there tune updates if you buy all the parts from them. Not so here but will treat you well on those parts also.

Not that the tuners discussed in this thread aren't good, but why base your tuning choice solely on who can save you a few bucks on a retune.

Because some people are always changing and trying new parts. It can add up quick. Switching turbos, injectors, cp3s and so fourth.

It's not the sole determining factor, but I see there's a few awesome tuners who don't charge and some that do, just trying to differentiate the two right now.

Rob at ATP also has free updates

We have always had free tuning upgrades if product is purchased through ATP. Our pricing and technical support on parts is very competitive with anyone. We also give free upgrades for things like regulator/maf/tire size/etc without purchase from ATP.

Good to know, I knew about the major changes but for small corrections that's great!

Bumping this up one more time, sent out a couple emails but haven't bit the bullet. Any other tuners you guys recommend?

Interesting, I purchased my V2 from ATP for original stock turbo, injector, built trans tuning w/ dsp5. When I upgraded to 40's, billet 66mm turbo, Y-bridge, etc.. I was charged for a re-tune, now I read this. Not Happy:mad:

Did you buy all those parts through ATP?
