Line pressure, vs. friction area, vs TC

Maybe that is good news. Not very familiar with valve body mods, but have you experimented with a way to modulate shift line pressure, without circuitry? Something that eases part throttle shifts, if that makes sense.

i need to read up on how these work, and the hardware involved.

Play with your fuel tables as that is where you will make the most changes to shifting. very little can be done in the valve body or TCM.

The way trans-go modifies the valves, there shouldn't be any increase in shift harshness, in part throttle conditions. When you shim the pump, that opens another can of worms.

That does not add anything to the shift firmness. Only tie ups do that.
