Line Lock Anyone?

Has anyone installed line lock? I am looking at installing one in my truck to help in the burn out box when i go to the drag strip. Just looking for any insight or direction as to which kit would be best.

I have one on my truck - mine has two solenoids to work with the ABS. Works pretty slick for holding the front brakes for a burnout in the water box

Why two? Will a single one not work with ABS?

Caleb Baker had one on his drag zf6 for staging. Front wheels only. Went to a toggle that returned to off if you let go of it(not sure the technical name for that type) on the shifter.

The reason for 2 is because 1 line runs into the ABS from the master cylinder and 2 lines run out, 1 to each front wheel. On cars before abs you could just put one line lock solenoid in the line from the master cylinder before the tee block that split the lines to each front wheel.

You only need 1 solenoid on the front brake line coming out of the master

Have you personally done this on a gm truck with ABS and had no ill affects from the ABS?

Yes

Just keep the switch in a safe place. If you where to hit it while driving you would have no brakes
