I've been running the ADII 165 and have had problems holding lift pump pressures. They usually fall off to 1-2lbs. Air Dog changed it out for me to the ADII 200 thinking it might do a better job but really isn't much better. They claim that I shouldn't see this kind of drop off. What pressures are you guys seeing with your lift pumps? Is there a ideal number to be looking for?

I do not run an AD but my PPE pump will drop to around 8 psi right when i go WOT then around 3 gear it rebounds to 10psi

I have the 165 and it does the same thing. I have my sensor in the bleeder tap and when I go WOT it drops to 1~3psi. I have the pump set to run around 8~9psi at idle. The adjustment screw is turned in quite a bit, seemed when I cranked it in more it felt more sluggish? So I just left it around 8. Im interested to see what other people have to say as well...

I know you arent asking me but my idle pressure is 12 lol

The only reason I'm asking is because on my race truck I am running a FASS 260 or whatever. With it turned up right below the point where it would lope at ldle (17-18psi) it would suck down to zero during a run, but still hold rail pressure just fine. Since it was an oops afterthought I put an aeromotive regulator on the supply side (yes I know it's supposed to go on the return really, it was just easier at the time) the pump is turned all the way up and the regulator is set to 18 psi. It still sucks it down to around 10psi during a run. If you run it on the return line I think it's supposed to be better.

As long as you have positive pressure you should be ok on the lift pump right? I would think once it drops to zero your pump isnt big enough as long as there isnt any other issues like injectors with high return rates. I run a fass 150 and it only drops a few psi last time I checked.

On my fass 260 I was running 26psi at idle and that was straight out of the box. Now this was just the pump its self not the filter version. It only pulled down to 24psi when wot.The truck ran smooth at idle too.

FICM relocated, and no running fuel to it?

nope stock location and still running fuel thru it. I havent actually look to see if fuel is leaking out of it but i didnt notice anything wet underneath hood last night when changing body wiring harness. I have thought about moving it and running it dry. Maybe a winter project

My airdog 150 does the same described above. Runs about 12psi at idle and runs down to between 1-3psi at WOT. Sensor is on the fuel filter bleed screw as well. As long as there is possitive pressure, I was under the impression the CP3 is supplied with enough fuel to not have to draw it through. This is through the supplied draw straw, but will be going to a hellman sump to try to gain a few more psi at WOT. I will report back with some results when I can find some time to put it on.
