I've been running Kennedy twin pumps for around 4 years now. I use his fuel pressure gauge to keep an eye on my fuel filters. I noticed a couple weeks ago that they needed to be changed so I changed them. It brought me up to a wopping 2 psi at idle.

My two options are (open to others) either repair the kennedy pumps or buy something different. Replacing a motor on the kennedy pumps is obviously cheaper. Keep in mind I haven't dropped them yet to investigate, but a bad motor is all I figure it could be. I've been kicking around the idea of getting a raptor pump for a little bit, now would be the time. Open to any and all suggestions.

Just to make sure but did you get all the air out? I know sometimes i forget when i change the filter that they arent self priming pumps.

Changed my nictane filter and oem. I primed the cat filter when I put it on and used the primer bulb for the oem. Its possible. When it dries up here ill play with them a little more.

Why would you want to down grade on your pumps his are some of the best? Have you talked to John yet about replacing the bad one?

I sent him a pm on dp about it and my options. Don't get me wrong they're great pumps, just looking around. That being said, I wouldn't realy mind just fixing them.

Its best to email John, rather than PM.

See what he can do for you about the pumps. When one of mine went out he was awesome in getting me all fixed up and running again. I talked to him on a wednesday about my bad pump and friday afternoon I had a new pump motor on my doorstep... I have always had great service with John.
