Lift and tire set up

Buying a 2015 work truck with 250,000 miles on it.

Would like to put about a 4inch lift. Of course with the best ride as possible and front end last as much as possible. A arm upgrades??

wheels?? it has the ugly 17 on it now sooo. buy factory or aftermarket? 20 or 22 and 10 wide??

So many questions just dont want to spend money twice for no reason.

Let’s start with what your goal for the truck is? Pleasure use cruisin the pavement? Bashing the bush?

Truck will be on gravel and mud roads at times during hunting season. But mostly everyday driver. Pulling gooseneck at times but nothing heavy just small tractor.
Putting a 4or6 inch lift. Probably 6 inch but lower it to 4 for ride. Will have a programmer but not dpf deleted.

Mine is a classic but I use it similarly to what you plan to. I did a 6” Zone with a 3” block in the rear. Lowered the front till it was level. Best to use factory UCA for this.

I’d go with a 20x9 or 20x10 wheel if I were you. The little extra sidewalk saves your tires and wheels when you’re in the rocks or hit some potholes or curbs.

I'm not going to tell you what rims to get. Too personal. You need to look at what you want.

6" lift dropped down to 4". Like LBZ said, stock arms for this. Zone, cognito, rough country, etc are all good. Just pick one that does what you want. I have cognito

This is mine. As mentioned. 6" set at 4". Notice the angles are horizontal. This is what makes it ride soft. If you use a 4" or less then the angle will be steeper and the ride will be harsher.

I like Nitto tires as they are good quality with many options to choose from. If you really want to go with 35's I think you should regear to at least 4:10's or 4:30's. Sure you can just muscle through it and downshift to keep it in the power band but you loose a lot of range down low and up high without it. 4:30 with 35's would put your RPMs almost right back to stock rpm range
