Hi I recently installed a leveling kit on my 2009 Duramax 2500 so that i could get rid of the rub from my tires. The kit was only a torsion key, and now it rides like crap. I was wondering what my options are if there is another kit that would raise my front end a bit without sacrificing the ride.

Try letting a couple of pounds of air out of your tires. Huge difference when i go from 65psi to 70.

I do not want to go to a smaller size tire because they are the smallest 10ply tire you can get. The problem is i bought slightly used rims not knowing they have an offset and that's why they rub so much that they wont work. So my only choice is to go with a 4" suspension lift? I think i know the answer to this but would air bags do anything? Any recommendations on a good lift kit?

I'm not finding a 275/60, but I do see a 275/65. Is that what it is? If so, that tire is listed at just over 34" tall. You can get an E load range 285/55/20 which is listed at 32.5" tall. I clear them just fine with my lowered truck (not BFG, but same size).

It could be the upper control arms hitting the down travel suspension stop that is causing it to ride rough. You may want to take a look at how much clearance there is there. Cognito sells a set of upper control arms that give you a little more room there and help get the alignment in spec.

What brand of tires do you have? BF only makes a D rating 285/55/20 as far as I can find.
