Hey guys I have a 2014 2500 4x4 crew cab short bed, I want to level my truck and stuff the wheel wells. Problem is I am used to ford wheel wells and have ran 35 on my previous 2 f150s no problem w zero running with just a 2 in level in front. I hate how slim the options are in these silverados. Can someone please help!! I can't even find a wheel I like in the 8/180 bolt pattern

There's lots of wheel and tire threads on duramaxforum.

Most would say levelling these trucks is a bad idea. Olnety of reading on what you want to do on the interwebs

General rule of thumb...use the search feature on the forum and read through threads that pertain to your question.

General rule of thumb for this specific forum is most don't care about a wheel thread ;). Not trying to offend you, but this forum is more dedicated to the mechanical aspects of the duramax, and building them for competition or general performance usage. I recommended duramaxfoum because the vast majority of members there talk about wheels, paints, wraps, lifts etc.

1. That is right. Search and then ask on here if your search turns up nothing that answers your question.

2. That is not exactly true. A lot of the members on here enjoy a nice set of wheels and tires for their trucks, give it be a full out race truck, a street truck, or a work truck. It's when a person (OP, in this case here), starts two threads about the same thing is when we get a bit... tired.

At your girlfriends house
I cranked my keys to where I still had more than 3/4" on upper control arm and frame stop and am running 275/65/r20 which is 34.4" or so tall. I call it a skinny 35. This is on factory 5 spoke 20" rims. Not exactly level but I didnt want it that way either as I still tow everyday with it. Looks good. Bout to go 7.5" lift though. Debating this year or wait till winters over.

I have 37" wheel wells from some old pocket flares. Currently I'm running a 24x12 -40 on 305/35's
My truck is lowered on the front and the rear.
Before that I had 20x14 -76 on 35x12.50's on a 7" lift

Before that I was leveled and on
20x12 -44 on 33x12.50

There was a trend between each on these combinations and that was rub a dub dub. Your offset is the true determination and in my experience you can squeeze anything 33" and under on a leveled truck at -44 offset on a 12" wheel. But lord giveth lord taketh away so if you want 35's you are gonna have pizza cutters so if you want width you have to stay at or under that 33" mark.

Center of hub to top of wheel well should not exceed 26" max (leveled). Without hacking up the truck, a 33x11.50 9" wheel with 5.0-5.7" BS is about max. If you want to go bigger or wider, you can find a link to the NCT fender mod at the site below.

35x12.50 will fit on a factory 20 with no cutting. Only leveling the front. 11-14

15+ doesn't even require leveling. There is lots of reading on this subject. Find a wheel you like and do some searching on it. Just remember as offset goes negative the wheel comes out and into the rub zone.

Just for the record to the op. I my lmm was leveled for a little while. After getting my lml I put a 5" zone lift on it but left the front tuned down quite a bit. I will never level a truck again after all the problems I've had with my lmm due to bad c.v. angles and how much nice my lml rides woth jist a cheap lift and shocks. I'd spend a few hundred more and lift it then 35's will fit no problem.

They're is also tons of wheels being made now in 8x180mm bolt pattern. You should try to find nice dually wheels to fit the new 8x210.. bolt pattern they have..lol

295/75/18 will work w no rubbing and minimal plastic shaving with a diff mod that HTW motorsports in upland CA has been doing for the past year.
