Subject: Refund

Hi Pat,

I just sent you a refund for your advertising fees for the remainder of your advertising term. We do not allow competing forums to advertise on our site.

Thank you

========================================================

Greetings Nick,

Actually, not only do you allow other forums, you have allowed them for a long time.

PPE has a forum, BD Power has a forum, as well as several other vendors at your website. Basically, you banned me for having a private tuning area. Big surprise. Now you are pulling the McRat Racing vendor status because you cannot control what I post if it's not on your website.

I'm just glad you didn't ban me for helping you and other Duramax owners. Or is that the problem?

Sincerely,

Pat McSwain

There are lots of forums made by TDP vendors, it's actually common.

They just wanted a plausible excuse removing McRat Racing as a vendor. Guess they think their members aren't very bright. No big surprise there.

But since this is not a "For Profit" site like The Diesel Place, it's really not even the same kind of animal.

For the readers who do not know:

Nick D'amico is the owner of www.thedieselplace.com one of the diesel websites that McRat Racing has advertised on.

You are free to mention other websites on this board. I believe there are many links to other enthusiast boards here.

lets see...

PPE, BD, EFI Live, vorteccar, etc. Be interesting to see what they say about that... I'll bet just about any amount of money they'll do one of two things, ignore your response and stick with the removal of your vendor status or take your money back and let you back in so they don't have to remove the others. They don't have the sack to remove all those other vendors.

Man that burns me up...

Ok I'm not trying to get into a pissing match with anyone, as I like some of these guys and buy from some of them but....

As far as I can tell, the following TDP "Supporting Vendors" have forums:
BD Engine Brake: http://www.dieselperformance.com/forum/
Cool My Duramax: http://coolmyduramax.com/forums/
EFI Live: http://forum.efilive.com/
EFI University: http://www.efi101.com/forum/
HP Tuners: http://www.hptuners.com/forum/
MGT Motorsports: http://www.mgtmotorsports.com/Feedback/index.php
Nicktane: http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=33
PPE: http://www.pacificp.com/forum/index.php
Painless Performance Products: http://www.painlessperformance.com/forum/index.php
Pitstop Motorsports: http://www.pitstopmotorsports.com/forum
Turbonetics Inc.: http://www.turboneticsownersclub.com/portal.php

Please note that many of the "Supporting Vendors" have Blogs on their sites, I didn't look them up though. Also of note is that alot of the vendors have "Customer Login" buttons, I'm going to assume they're all for shopping cart purposes and not for forum purposes.

Hope that helps... good luck!

They should also let you/or Kat post something like an announcement saying that you are no longer to be a vendor so that people don't think you guys didn't disappear.
