Let’s talk manifolds

So I have a 2013 LML tuned, CP3 conversion, Danville 2.5 stg1 and I’m pretty happy with it right now but can’t leave anything well enough alone. So I’m looking at manifolds. My conundrum is I already have 2” up pipes from wehrli and am debating whether to go with HSP billet manifolds or Pro fab manifolds. The HSP work with factory location ups so it saves me some work swapping those out, but they are more expensive than profab with new up pipes. The pro fab are pretty proven and highly thought of, not a lot of info on the HSP. I guess any thoughts opinions or insight you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated to help me make a decision. I had wanted to try steeds set up out, but after a year and nothing, I doubt they will ever make it to market. Thanks!

I already have a built trans. I guess I’m better off putting the money to an S472sxe to compound over the danville, or a 10mm CP3.

Defiant, yeah theLML drivers side manifold is a popular upgrade since it doesn’t have the depression to clear the steering shaft. My understanding is it’s debatable whether it provides any actual benefit for most applications.

I swap back and forth between stock manifolds and the cast high flow manifolds . It depends on the turbo set-up that i'm running but I've actually lost some mph on my time slips after swapping over to the high flow manifolds. There are certain set-ups on my truck that like the extra drive pressure/egt.

I personally dont see an issue with using them, as they helped me.

But like jpowell said, it depends on the setup you're running and how they match up with the turbo.

I guess this begs the question, what set ups do manis seem to help and what do they seem to hurt? I’m running a fairly small VGT and I’m guessing most with experience are running fixed? Maybe this would be a question best suited for Mark since they would be used with his turbo.

Ctodd any idea why the guy pulled them off? (Btw I’m the guy that posted your pics up on Jordan’s post on FB)

Haha oh sweet! He is going 3.0 remote mount so the up pipes he has are no good for that. I know this guy has up pipes but for 900 and change billet manis and up pipes isn’t a bad deal
