Ok well I get good mpg with my race tune if I keep out of it, which I can't lol. So lets discuss actual tuning for economy.

I started with stock tune and lowered DES boost tables. Thats about as far as I went.

Lets say you wanna add a lil timing. There a a few neg. numbers scattered around, so if I select the entire table the neg. numbers will go farther negative....

Any ideas? What works best for you?

AND GO!!!!-->

I tried the economy tuning on the dsp5, for some reason, it has migrated to race, race 1, race 2, race 3 and race 4............its just too hard to be satisfyed with a lessor tune :eek:

mike i have found if you can keep the truck under 10,500 rail psi at cruise and 1-3 psi boost you can avg realy good mpg any thing over those numbers is where my mpg starts to drop. the max mph i can get while maintaing those limits is 72mph

I edited my race tune and have been getting very good results for MPG.. I opened the vanes all the way up 1800rpm and down and 40mm^3 down...... That and a light foot is getting me around 20 mpg combined 60% highway/40%country roads (45MPH, stop signs every couple miles) on winter fuel in Michigan

I was messing around with a stock tune a while back too with a little here and there added:rofl: Got old

Have you tried that other tune yet?
