My name is Tom Albrecht, and I'm from Upstate NY.(15 mins. north of Utica) I'm new to diesels and found a lot of good info here. I have an 04 2500hd ext lt 4x4. Seller put the screws to me telling me that it had new injectors. Yeah right, maybe 100,00 miles ago. So after paying 12,500 and 3500 for injectors. I'm up to 16,000. I need to keep it running for a while to make it worth while. Started showing antique tractors so I that's why i bought it. Tractors and trailer Wt. is 15000lbs. I wish I new about this site prior to buying. Would have been wiser and would have passed on this, but on the plus side it is a rust free southern truck.

It is becoming an addiction. :thumb:

Lb7 injectors can be hit or miss. Some last 20000 miles. Some last 300000 miles. I personally think that's filtration and installation is the main key to making them last. Most people half ass injector installs now to save a dime. I suggest a good lift pump with filters and running a good treatment.
