Been running stock bulbs in my fog light and HIDs with projectors for my lows for a while. The color being different always bothered me. I wanted to build a set of projectors for the fog, but never got around to it. I'm over HIDs and didn't trust/like LEDs for a while. Well I started to dig yellow fog lights that have gotten popular again. So I picked up a set of LASFIT Switch back yellow/white LEDs. They are "tuneable" so I thought I could get a good pattern. I was wrong. I did a little searching and found an easy bulb shield to make with what I have on hand. Just some time and a little bit of 1/2" copper pipe.

You can see how bad the glare is with the yellow even with me standing. After building the bulb shield it's much better(white) even while kneeling.

What an interesting way to solve that issue. (y)

It never ceases to amaze me how creative people can be when they put their minds to a problem.

It was simple too. I was thinking about building a big fancy bulb shield out of aluminum. Then I saw this. It probably took me an hour vs the day it would have been to do it my way.
