I just put new foglight housings in my 06 GMC a few days ago because my old ones filled up with water. Today it has been melting alot and i drove through a little bit of water (maybe 6 or 8 inches deep and i went slow) and there is already a drop of water in one of the new housings. I have 3000k 35w HID's installed and i think i'm going to take them out as i didn't seem to have any issues before i put HID's in. I was thinking about trying some LED bulbs in there. I know they won't have the same output but i'm not to worried about that. Has anyone tried LED's in their foglights? If so, what did you think? I'd just like them to match my 6000k headlights and not let water in the foglight housing because i paid $300 for the new housings.
