Hello and thanks for letting me learn from y'all. I just bought a 2006 duramax and I love it. This is my first duramax and after reading some of your post now I have even more questions. Like two cycle oil or egr kit or just leave it all alone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank y'all again

Two cycle is decent additive many guys run it. I run opti-lube. The egr is much better in the scrapyard. One you remove it you'll see all the crap it circulates back into the motor if you don't delete/block it.

Not really. You have to be able to shut the codes off once you delete/ block the egr though.

When I got the truck he said it has a program but he does not have the plug in thing.
