i recently bought a v2 and was wondering what pids do yall record when getting a base to tune from i am not looking to tune the truck myself yet as it is already tuned just really wanting to learn any help would be appriciated

Imperial is units of measure such as °F for temp, MPH for speed........Metric would be °C, KMH, etc......
What exactly are you trying to do? If you want to learn the changes made in the tune itself, and to see the adjustments you can make ect then you need only to open the tune tool and open your tune and explore. If your interested in watching live data on whats going on while the truck is running then open the scan tool and select your ecm, connect to the truck and then click the file, open, pid selection file. From there you can hit dmax imperial.
right now i am just trying to get the basics of scanning and comparing tunes and what not and then tune it myself later on down the road
Well the basics of scanning are above, its a pretty user friendly interface so once you know the basics you can figure the rest out pretty easy. As far as tune comparison its pretty easy also, just load a tune, then click the folder with arrows that is for loading a second tune. Then click the double arrow next to it and it will show the compare page. From there you can load difference's or similarities.
