Ugh. I even put a little protector on the line, but over the years it slipped I guess. https://youtu.be/TBkIGuafqV8

Unless there's a better idea, I plan on pulling the line and taking it to my local Parker store to duplicate.

yesterday morning I hit a Parker store and had them make me a new hose. All good. :woott:

Back when I did these, my OEM lines leaked and it was the best solution. Since that time, GM has a campaign and new OEM lines that (supposedly) aren't leak prone. I checked and my truck is covered in the campaign.

SO the question is... leave these on, or go get a new set gratis from GM???

I guess because I'm worried that the other 4 fittings could fail soon. When this one went, my driveway became covered in trans fluid. If it was last week, I could have been on I-95 with no trans fluid. I'm really not sure which way I'll go on this one. If an fittings are generally more reliable than this, then I'll leave them. But this is my only experience with them, so I'm ignorant in this matter.

I know the 08's had a recall for the trans lines quite recently. I don't know that they are any better than the originals tho. I would call the manufacturer of your aftermarket lines and express your concerns, maybe they have updated fittings since you bought them and they give you a updated version.
