So after a few trips pulling my lmm around on the gooseneck I started to hear some more moans and groans from the spring packs. Well turns out that the little slip/anti friction pads that are supposed to be in between each leaf is totally worn out. I bought the truck from a guy who used to tow with it often so that would probably explain why. Chevytuff01 works at a dealer and said you have to get a whole new leaf pack to get the pads, and they do not sell them separate. I got ones for the overload springs, but need to find some for the rest of the pack. Has anyone replaced these, or know of an aftermarket company that makes them? I have tried searching but haven't come up with any luck...
