lbz vane issue

I am having issues with a lbz i am getting p0045 and limp mode. Can anyone tell me where to wires go from the plug on the vane solenoid? Or what electrical values should come out of them...i check the ohms of solenoid it self it is under 7 i think i have an issue with the wiring going to the solenoid maybe?

My vane solenoid tested good but still was faulty. Kept throwing the p0045. I had to replace the solenoid and all was good again.

Well thats interesting...I just would like to double check all the wiring out before buying new ...is the a test procedure for checking the power and or resistance at the solenoid plug? If this helps i can not get the vanes to do anything via efi live scan tool they stay at 0

Put a volt meter on the out put of the plug and see if it gets 14 volts when commanded. If your getting 14 volts when you command it with efi live then you know the wiring is good.

There is a blue and a white which do you mean out part of plug?

One is positive and one is negative..

If i put the neg on one and pos of the other i get nothing..if i ground my meter to a known ground then i get 12.20 volts from the blue wire while the key is on

Does anyone know where the white wire goes from the solenoid plug? I think it goes to the ecm ...if i knew which pin i could check continuity

It runs under neath the coolant cross over pipe. Plugs in there off a bracket the Ds valve cover
