Truck has a 1053, gmax6. Doing a full run wot the truck shifts through the gears great but the converter won't lock unless the throttle is lifted slightly. I am logging tcc pressure control solenoid to see when lock up is commanded and it doesn't seem to command it during wot. Just driving normally the TCC pressure control will report around 15x psi so I know the PID is working. Truck will just hang at the rev limiter in 6th gear. What should I be looking at? This screen shot is wot converter not locking.

Is the turbine and input speed differential too high for lockup?
I have logged converter slip as high as 1500 rpms during these same conditions.

I have always read that there is a table that is not available to us in EFI Live that says if the rpm differance is more than 600 RPMS it will never lock the converter until it falls below that 600 RPM setting.

With that being said im pretty sure I had read somewhere where EFI Live was trying to help the 6 speed trucks with some additional tables but I am not totally sure where that is at the present time. You could also get a lock up box from Ben at BT Diesel works or FLeece.

Yep ordered a box from Ben today :) I was just surprised that this converter would be "slipping" that much at that high of a speed.
