LBZ stuff

For you guys with LBZs shed a little light on this; I have been helping a kid with some stuff on his LBZ one of which was putting in a DSP2 switch. He bought EFILive and the person he bought it from is doing the tuning. I am by no means a tuner and I sure as hell dont play with LBZs all that much but this has me scatching my head. He wanted a smoke tune, so he has a smoke tune with a pw that goes from 3600 to 3900ms from 50 mpa to 120 and it tapers off at about 60 mpa to 2800 then goes down from there. I was having issues hooking up his dsp2 switch and couldnt get it to work. Well in the meantime I copied the values for his smoke tune into his main tune for him so he could have a smoke tune to drive around on. With the above pw he said hes not getting smoke. I cant honestly believe he has the right tune loaded with that kind of pw. Sorry for the novel and thanks

Was he flooring it, or jsut trying to lug the truck? Mine doesnt work when I try to lug it

I dont have V2 unfortunately. Im just trying to help him out because he wants a smoke tune and I couldnt get his DSP2 switch to work. Walking him through logging something may render me hairless. Check your email Rob!

Could be fuel filter. I clogged mine bad enough that it wouldn't smoke even if I put it to the floor.

I changed the filter on the truck about a week ago. Truck runs fine. Just wont smoke

Vane tables? Boost? Timing? I messed around with mine a bit not wanting to go crazy with the PW and he sure has enough fuel.
