I have been working on tuning a 06 LBZ and its 100% stock. the request has been run it wot and we will deal with the consquences later  I have been doing tuning for quite awhile now but I am having quite the brain fart on this one. If someone has a blow up the stock trans and runs like a mofo tune I would be interested in learning about the tune. I would do this with confidentially because I dont like my hard work floating around for free use.
So if any one is interested in comparing or would like to discuss ideas I am open.

Thanks.

Some people are relucant to help however I completely agree with you.

The problem I am having is getting the turbo lite off the line. I know there is something going on with my vane boost and position. Its possible I have missed the boat on some other parameters such as the maf and some limiting tables in under torque and boost. I am open for ideas to get my head out of my butt on this.
Check out the screen shot of my log.
The other problem I'm having is the main open doesnt seem to have the correct pids? maybe? not sure. I'm using build 7.5.4 build 65.

The whole point of forums are so that everyone can put their heads together and learn from eachothers mistakes. IMO:dontknow:

Post up the tune and we can help you. Its not like your tune is going to be "stolen". Most of the Tuners on this forum would be happy to know someone is running a tune that they made. Plus 70%+ have tunes from a tuner that is on this site(Mostly Pat). They aren't any "secrets" for max power its just all about preference say more low end power, more smoke, less smoke etc. We here are the good guys. Enjoy the site.

Well I think I've finally pulled my head out of butt on this one. I will give it a test asap and report back with the changes. Thanks for the input so far.

Check out the screen shot of my log.

I would if I could, but I can't  In all seriousness my old lady got a new computer and I'm not alowed to put EFI Live on this one  Guess I don't spend enough time with her. I tried opening it but she never set up word on this thing and I don't want to piddle with anything. All my fun happens on my laptop:D

I would send you my vane tables but I know they will not work well for you. They are for headers and bigger up-pipes and I know they wont work well with stock stuff;)

???

Ok at this point I am 50% lost. I maybe expecting too much out of what I am doing. I believe that with the turbo design and the proper tuning this truck should have a non boost holeshot that is able to smoke the tires. I am wrong on this? The tunes I have put together pull great once it shifts into second. The boost is right and the fueling seems to be ok. I just can seem to get the charger to light and go. I know I am missing something on this and I need for someone to evaluate this with a fresh set of eyes.
I have LB7 tunes that will light the charger and pull a lot harder through out a entire run with less fueling that the tunes I have done for this dang truck.
I am also wondering if I may have my head up my butt on this and it is not really a LBZ but a LLY. The truck is a 06 but I would think if I tried LLY scan parameters or even download the ecm that it would show invalid. I have about 6 different tune and scans to show what is going on here. I can email them to you to take a look but I will post up 1 of each for now to get things going.

I posted the tune but it wont post the scan file? so i will just put up a screen shot.

After looking at that tune,Im surprised that thing is still running! (and not blown up) You need to listen to Mikes advice, he has a good handle on tuning these trucks.

I've never really been able to get mine to light them from a dead stop without building a little boost first. If you figure it out, let me know.

An 06 LLY is tuned and logged exactly the same as an LBZ. If you choose LLY for the controller it won't work. You have to choose LBZ. What's your OS?

If you want to post a log, you have to zip it and post it zipped.

Can you give details why you think this.
Yeah, since it looks like my tune, I'd also like to hear what you think is wrong with it.
