LBZ ported FPR

so i pulled apart my spare fpr and ported it.... i have a pull at 4pm tomorrow gotta leave by 1 to be there at 2 to weigh in

i'm stuck at work tonite and want to try and get it done first thing tomorrow morning before the pull.....

anybody acutally done this on an lbz, is it worth the labor to do it now or should i just wait til i swap the motors out?

I have done it to an LBZ reg , but never a before and after , it cant hurt though !

hmmmmm i looks like a tight squeeze i wonder if i can swap it without pulling the coolant tube off :confused:

LOL no you need to pull a decent amount of stuff off to get to the Regulator. Odds are it will take 3-4 hrs maybe more. You will also need a long T-25 socket as the 1/4 drive one is too short to get to the bottom bolt which is a PITA. I had to pull the y-bridge to gain the proper access... Jason(LBZRCKS) got Matts off without pulling the y-bridge. I'd allow more than a few hours but thats just me

I pulled only the inlet to the bridge out, It can be done in about 2 hours

it can be done in about 30 minutes taking just the bridge out....short flexhead wratchet and small extension for the torx bit...maybe i had a universal in there too for one of them. good luck at the pull Kyle!
