Guys I'm trying to put together a quick reference list of the pros and cons of the stock engines... Please feel free to copy/paste and add stuff to the list.

I'm putting this together for myself and others looking to get a/another Duramax

I didn't know the lly turbo is better. Huh learn something new everyday. What makes it better? And would it be worth swapping one in that I have lying around.

no reason to swap a stock lly turbo to your lbz, gains would be minimal. You need to go bigger :D

LBZ-Cons-Weakest Convertor,<I disagree here egr, pcv, leaky transmission lines<this is definetly gay!!!, pistons are definetly dodgy, Limited EFI tuning, no full flash on trans tuning yet
