Quick question for those experienced. I was bored and was thinking of pulling the transmission on my LBZ which has about 220k on it and installing Mike's pressure spring, trims springs and a lock-up valve - It's only a 450hp tune (already has a Jr in it) and I just have an itch to take something apart, again.

Will the clutch lining have a problem at that pressure (no shim) with less knockdown?

Refresh C1,2, and 3 while you're in there. Stock converter may not like the extra pressure.

RGPZ 1001, 1002 and 1013; or would you recommend stock clutches at that level?

I'm concerned about the converter delaminating its lining at that pressure too. So would you recommend the L.U.-valve or pressure spring or scratching this all together?

Not to sound cheap, I am buying a new truck at the end of July, so I am trying to be conservative while having a bit of fun/relaxation taking it apart.

Leave it alone and save your money for the new truck.:thumb:
