Alright so for sometime now ive noticed the distinct smell of coolant after i get out of my truck but during the summer i blew a plug and coolant went all over my downpipe thats wrapped so just been figuring its been heating off as i try not to drive it that much. Well trucks been sitting for 4 days now in my garage thats kept at or around 60 and got home from work and found a little leak of coolant on the floor. Well crawled underneath it and the passenger bung on the up pipe is soaked and dripping from somewhere up there? I climbed up top and ran my hand on the passenger side head and can feel no leaks or anything??? So i figuered what the hell, i pull the bottle cap and it lets out some pressure, not much but deff let air out. So does anyone have any guesses on what might be? Truck no longer has stock turbo, has IIs 366 so all lines that werent needed were plugged and egr has been deleted as well, no coolant in motor valley and nothing up top? could it be pushing coolant out the up pipe maybe i put a tiny hole in the bung??
