Lbz intake on lb7?

MAF is different

The tube may be a different size, but the MAF is the same from 01-early 07. LMM uses a different MAF sensor. And I have put my 01 LB7 MAF into an 06 LBZ before so I know it works.

Ah you are correct it is the same. For some reason I was thinking it changed in 06.

The stock LBZ airbox can easily support 500HP, AND filter better than most any aftermarket one on the market doing it. The stock LB7/LLY flat panel air filter can't support no where near as much while filtering as well.

That sums it up. Any other ideas for a cheap but viable intake? Or what's the best aftermarket. Truck will be setting around 500hp

You could use the lbz airbox and filter, and build your own plumbing

I think I may do that. See if anyone has a sticker to throw away. And run the profab intake horn with it.
