LB7: LBZ CP3 swap

From what I have seen it is a direct swap and modding tables in EFI.

But what is the pro of swapping it. Is it the actual pump that is better or the FPR?

And if its the FPR, is it possible to just swap out the LB7 FPR for an LBZ one?

Or is it the conjunction of both the pump and the FPR that makes it better?

i just di the lbz reg in my lb7 pump i held 26.6 ksi on stock nozzles with a 3250 it helped out alot but it cant keep up with my 45% nozzles at a 2000 pw

What did it hold on the LB7 FPR??

The LBZ pump flows 4mm3 more than the LB7 pump. They are about 200 bucks cheaper also.

so its the pump alone....so technically you could use an lb7 fpr and lbz pump and get the same results?

You could use the LB7 fpr on it. I would use the LBZ one and rescale the rail valve current then you are for certain going to have the same capabilities it was make for.

The reg is different , the suction pump is different and the holes entering the pump for fuel is different and I belive they Are geared a lil different
