hey thinking of taking the plunge for EFIlive like next week. How are the tunes for LB7's? Are you guys getting some good power? I am thinking that a good tune on EFI will out perform my Hypertech, Edge stack. I am also going to have to do a tow tune and mabey a smoke tune for these AZ drivers!

I had the edge hypertech stack once. After EFI I've never looked back. You won't be disappointed.

the tunes for the lb7s have been doing very very well at the track and pulls there is also some good tow tunes and ofcouse some smokers:grd:

and dynoed over 500 horse a few times
trust me youll want to throw that stack in the trash after getting a good efi live tune!!!!!

For full benefits you really ought to have lift pumps

well I have already got 2 guys commited to by the Hypertech and the Edge, so just as soon as I receive those money orders its time for EFI. I also have to get some gauges, then I'll have to find me a good lift pump.

Talk to Dan at PPE. I am running their PPE lift pump. It is an improved Edelbrock 1792 by improved I mean it has gaskets that can run ULSD.

sounds good, thanks paint! Looking at your sig, I am guessing that will be enough of a lift pump for the tune McRat gives you when you buy EFI Live from him.

I have seen the tune library over at the Diesel Place, but do most guys share the big tunes or sell them or keep them locked up top secret? I'm sure it will take me years (if ever) to learn how to make good tunes myself.

I think buying this damn truck was my worst investment yet. Can't get enough of it though!

yea, I bought my truck lifted so I wouldnt have to do anything. That really lasted. new wheels and tires, some bling, hypertech, then and Edge, then a tranny, now it EFI, and new gauges, and a lift pump, and sending unit mods. It seems like the list grows twice as fast as I mark things off if it! Oh well, its so much fun!
