Finally decided after wanting to own a dually since i was 15 and test drove a 454 3500 OBS that we'd have a good enough crop to permit this purchase.
Sad and Good day all at once, i absolutely loved my ZF6 lb7, put 45,000 hard miles on it in 18months and traded her off tuesday afternoon. Injector was starting to drop and it's let me down a few times now with gremlins the truck had such as losing power (12v) for no reason the night before i had to haul stuff to texas on a weekend hotshot run, etc.
On the good note, i can finally say i own the truck i've wanted since before i got my drivers license almost 10 years ago. It's a clean 06 Crew Dually 70K miles, loaded minus sunroof (a plus for me since i dislike them), previous owner did some things and left wiring everywhere when he pulled the stuff off so i have to clean that up, but its easy and i enjoy wiring projects anyway.
