so, im adjusting the valve lash on my 01 lb7 and a couple of them seem like I had to back the adjustment screw out way too far to get the right clearance. most of them have about 2 threads sticking out above the nut, but a couple have twice that and are still kinda tight. ill try to take a pic of it, but i was just wondering if this is normal. its my first time doing it on a duramax. i used the procedure from the merchant automotive website where you do half of them on the intake stroke and the rest on the exhaust stroke. sorry for my dumb question, but i havent found much info on this.
