Ok so I have family friend that just bought an lb7 as his first truck. Nothing special but it has a pretty bad oil leak. It's his first diesel so he doesn't know much about it, so I was going to help him fix it. I realized the Turbo line is leaking, as far as I can tell. I'm leary about doing the work myself because it's a pain in the butt and I don't want to break up pipe or downpipe bolts. So could anyone recommend some shops around the Illinois or Indiana area that could get him in and do the work. I know its probably not gonna be cheap but figured you fellas could point me in the eighth direction. Thanks in advance.

Doubt you'll break them but they are never fun the first time around. I'd suggest a good swivel head ratchet, maybe a u joint adapter, and a few curse words but that's my $0.02

Get ahold of Riley Gullett (rgullett83). He's between Terre Haute and Marshall off I-70.

Wehrli is in sycamore, Il and could get you fixed up. They are pretty fair on their labor time as well, more so than other shops I've been to.

Thanks I was gonna give them a call actually, I've hear they do great work and are reasonable. At this point I'm considering doing the work as we have a lift, just don't have the time to mess with it really.
