Well, Pat said he had a map, but had no idea where it was.

Vaz said it was a 59.9mm inducer, too.

It has a funky-ass 6 bolt flange that you cant find ANYWHERE.

Thats all I know

YA, these IHI's seem to have had an unfortunate smelting accident:rofl: cuz there horribly deformed compaired any other turbo! Factory mountings/parts for ya! They couldnt have made it simpler could they? I'd figureed my old ass Benz would have some oddball wierdo turbo too....Nope nice lil regular T3!
Instead we hafta buy pedistals and such since its kinda part of the orig.

(eventually) When twins are in order, no more valley turbo;)

Just trying to piece together the technical info on it. You can get all sorts of info for the aftermarket chargers, but nothing is available for the stockers.

Sent a PM on how to deal with the incorrect addy. Thanks for the offer of measurements.

As for the P-n-P, I just have to find a second charger to send to them. Everything I read leads me to think there is something to be gained by doing it.

I TOOK APART MY IHI LAST NIGHT AND MEASURED THE INDUCER AND EXDUCER OF THE COMP WHEEL. THE INDUCER IS 60.2x mm and the exducer is 80.xx mm- i had the exhaust housing off but forgot to measure the turbine wheel

thanks, im still going to do some more measuring myself but that is a good start for my thinking. now i got to see how much i can machine out of there safely. even if i can just fit a 61.5mm 82mm garrett compressor in there that would be better but id really like to get it out to a 63.5mm 88mm but that maybe pushing it. turbine side i would like to do bigger as well. try to get into the 74mm range

diamondshocks...you're crazy! I mean that in a good way....

nope just stupid, haha. i like challanges. make things better for the least amount of money. im really good at this, haha, kinda, i spend way to much money on toys. hopefully it turns out well. im goign to try and make it affordilbe so maybe make up a few of them. hopefully i can get it up to over 550HP with a modded stocker, that would be nice. now if i can just get rid of a sled here in 2 weeks id be set.

Freddy- i dont think you can hand bore it and make it work. If you want, i have a guy that machined my s400 to fit a 80mm wheel. Charged me like 70 bucks. Same for you tom- if you want different comp wheels, let me know.

Most Id do is the P-n-P. Just want to maximize the stock setup. Im not planning on "cheeting" any time soon. ;)
