Lb7 turbo inlet

Quick question - at even 2lbs of air from the inlet of the s475, I have air leaking past the “snout” bolted onto the front of the ihi. Is this a problem area and I should attempt to seal it up? (WCFab compound kit). Thanks!

I siliconed mine to the front of the ihi to stop the leak. Also had a leak at the v-band at the outlet of the big turbo but swapped pipe flange to have an o-ring seal.

I’d seal the leaks

Thanks. That will be next. I’m shot from working on her in this heat! Last 5% takes
90% . The storm is starting, so I’m taking another shower. Yuck. lol

Thanks for the part numbers! I’m looking through my spare parts and I have one. I guess copper rtv both sides and install? Not sure what else in the local stores would hold temps better?

Right stuff, let it sit over night on it and you will have 0 issues.

I use copper "spray a gasket" from Permatex, it works wonders!
