im in the process of rebuilding the engine in my truck nothing special just new rings bearings and such. I was wondering which piston rings to use, the kit came with mahle 41909 rings but I thought I seen somewhere on here not to use those but I cant find the post anymore. what rigns are recommended the truck is my daily driver so im looking for longevity

42160 but that’s superceeded by 4075MDK-D (75 is for a .020 block, 55 is stock, 95 is .040)

Now, I don’t know 100% if that’s true as again, it was a “rep” that claims this but if you want rings that you know are right, call up SoCal Diesel. Never had an issues with Guys
