I have an Lb7 bought used had the 0093 code but fixed it with new cp3. Drove it 2 days and noticed massive fuel dumping on ground on back side of the motor. Checked over the work, nothing i did was it. Then I checked the return line on the back of the motor that bolts into the head for the injectors. It was loose. Pulled it replaced seal and i did notice some metal in the threads. Tried to put it back in anyway got it snug and had slow drip. tried to turn it a little more its completely striped. Any advise on how to fix this. Im to pissed off to think.

those bolts suck....they always strip....best to have a few on hand for when you strip them. If there was metal in the threads, I would clean it real good and possibly pull injector to make sure threads aren't jacked up.

Just use a set of vice grips to get it out and toss it.

Had to fix a truck with the same issue last week. Had to get a right angle drill and drill the hole out then tap it and install a heli coil and new bolt. Hasn't leaked since. He wanted to try anything before having to replace the head. Lol

His was the return on the passenger side head which is in the front and a lot easier to get to. Just had to remove alternator bracket and coolant crossover pipe from the front of the heads to access it. The one you have leaking is gonna be alot harder to access. Id say you could remove the turbo and get to it. Good luck man!

ok finally got around to doing this fix. I went ahead and got a downpipe sense i was tearing the turbo out. got the heli coil in and so far its not leaking. Didnt need an angle drill tho. there was plenty of room with turbo out for an regular drill. :woott:
