Thank you sir!! :thumb:

I removed my up pipe and found the problem... this was only after 1 week of driving, and 200 miles on the turbo. I learned that not all shortcuts work like you think

Did you have the EGR riser supported at all where the cooler bolted on previously Brian; How was it blocked off? Do you have a pic from further away showing the whole EGR riser and where it attaches to the up-pipe?

No, I did not. I made a bracket for it, but the downpipe pressed the riser towards the front of the motor so I scrapped the idea. I made a steel plate for the blocker, lemme find a pic of it.

The DP for the HTT? I sourced an LB7 up-pipe after paul and I talked about this but the pedestal bolt look like a bitch to get to. I had some small sq tubing and I had thought about bracing what is there and replacing it if it broke. It's just real cold out there right now :baby:

Yeah, the downpipe for the HTT pushed the bellow forward. id assume that it pushe dit farther than the bellow would normally bend and a small crease became a crack. the Pedistal bolt wasnt that bad to get, I just had them off a week ago so used a 3/8's rachet like 6" long and a 1 foot breaker bar and they were off.

Did you drop your trans or can you get to it from the side/top?
Pull the downpipe and passenger's side fender liner and work through the wheelwell. That's the easiest way I've found to get to it.

X2 Josh is right on the money.

There is absolutely no reason to drop the trans to do up-pipes. I have pulled them hundreds of times.

Nope, I may have the only LBZ that has tons of room once I get the downpipe off, I can almost stick my head back there..lol

I can get all the up pipe to pedistal bolts from the pass side.

Got the new lb7 up pipe on, and no leaks, had a hickup with the V-band clamp not lining up, but it was user error  No rubbing, and no leaks, good day IMO...
