Hey all, duramax starts runs and then dies basically immediately

was going to wire up my boost gauge (didnt even bother after this)

Use to have a BT diesel automatic high idle that i couldnt get to work (ages ago) that i had just cut out when i removed it.

i accidently touched one of the wires against the steel under need the column and it made a spark then and now the truck wont start

dash lights also wont come on, i checked a bunch of fuses but im not sure what im missing, any ideas?

here is a video

And I think these were the wires

read back on the instructions and "NOTE: YOU MUST USE A POWER SOURCE THAT IS “HOT” DURING “RUN” AND
“CRANK”. (ie, a power source that does NOT momentarily shut off when the key is turned to
start) A known-good location to tap into an ignition-hot source that is hot in RUN and CRANK, is
at the BCM. Locate the 24-pin LIGHT BLUE connector on the BCM."

but i honestly cant remember where this one went, it goes up to the column and yeah. guess i shorted it out.

not sure if this would help

is fuel being cut from the security system or something like that?

thanks

Which is the ECM b fuse? Or where is it found? I would think the ignition fuses are probably good because it starts and runs then dies

So I've disabled the security using the ppe xcelerator but for some reason it's still kinda goofy.

What causes the DLC and CEL stuff to disappear until you start it?

Did I fry the ECM? PCM? BCM?

Something I'm over looking?

I would check all ignition fuse places on the underhood fuse block. Mine did it several years ago and it was one of the prongs in the block making intermittent connections. When it lost connection it would disable truck kinda like the ECM thinking it was being stolen. Best way to check probably would be leave the door open with key in so the chime works and wiggle the fuse to see if the chime changes sounds or speeds. It was simple to use a pick and move the prongs for better contact. What was funny was that it had never been taken out before.
