LB7 MAP sensor harness rub?

Haven’t been on the forum for a while, building a new house and shop.

Anyways, map sensor started acting erratic, and now it mostly wants to read high all the time. About to go pop the hood and take a look for a harness rub somewhere. Maybe you guys can point me directly to the problem area.

Looks like the sensor is shorted. With the scanner reading MAP, key on/engine off, it stays maxed out when moving the harness around. Unplug the sensor, and it drops to barometric pressure. Figured I would post what I found.

Yeah it’s been a while. Moved to NW Wyoming.

Think I remember your truck too. Weren’t you from Fairbanks?

Yep, frozen hell lol... Where in Wyo are you? I get over that way from time to time, we have family in Star Valley.

Isnt Yellowstone Park pretty much all of NW Wyoming? Thats one place Id like to visit after I (finally) retire.

Just the NW corner of the state. From my house, I can be at the gate in just over an hour. :thumb:
