Lb7 lost low end power

Well, while driving down the road, seemed to have lost low end grunt..

At the next light, it was a pig..Seemed to have lost all low end until 2700 rpm, then it woke up and wanted to run..(kinda like NO tune driving)

no smoke, rail psi still hit 24k, turbo is really slow to spool(lack of fuel, my guess), no code.

new filters on the air dog and main filter(after the issue) with no change. plugge in the tuner, no change..

Only recent issues is dead alternator.. thats been changed with new batteries as well.(last week)

Any ideas?

Thinking about getting a tech 2 so I can actually see whats going on..

With a boost leak, wouldnt it smoke a ton? It smokes when it runs good..

so with un-used boost, I would think fuel would just be wasted and blown out the back?

Unless the factory computer is reducing the amount of fuel due to a bad sensor?

I will pressure check the tubing and intercooler today.. but i think its something else, as it wakes up about 2500 rpm and 20 psi..

I just found a boost leak on mine, same exact symptoms as mine. I had very little smoke, doesn't the MAP not seeing the boost scale the fuel back?

The MAF can limit fuel if it's not seeing enough airflow... but it's pre-leak, so it should still see airflow before it escapes out through a leak.

Well mine with a boost leak wasn't excessively smoking in fact it was just a grey haze, with the intercooler boot intact it rolls some serious coal??? What could cause that? I was just guessing and it seemed to make sense in my head LOL

were you getting chitty milage too? MIne has sucked for 2 tanks..

Yep best I got was 15 highway going really easy

No boost leaks between turbo and engine inlet..

wastegate seems to be moving freely...

ficm possibly?

Replaced MAF and were good to go. Tried cleaning the old one , with no change.

Now I need some Tuning
