I asked you awhile ago on DP about the swapping the fuel fill on my 02 to a later fill or 4500 fill so I can use 1" nozzles.

LLY's and up have the big one. Ive looked at LB7's and im almost positive it just swaps over easy with no other issues.

Ill take some pics when I do it, place with cheapest fuel around here has only 1" nozzles, I can't even get one click to stay without it kicking off.

IIRC the LLY was the expensive one cause you had to change everything & the 4500 for duallie beds were cheaper & only had to change just the filler neck.

Last I remember the part number I use was no more good. The easiest thing to do is get a VIN from and 2004.5 up truck and buy the fill neck. The hose that connects the neck to the tank were the same so you can use your existing one. I went to the highest point on the tank and added a bulkhead fitting. You would be fine with a regular fitting, I only use the bulkhead to gain as much room on the tank to remove all the air I could. I then used a 90* swivel to push lock to go to the new fill neck....both of these were -10. The only hard part was holding a cup inside the tank where I was drilling the hole to catch any debris that fell. Well worth the time at the pump......I have put in 27 gallons in on a trip.

We just had the tank out of that truck a few weeks ago, never thought of takin pictures. Another buddy has one, maybe I can talk him into doing it and taking some shots.

You could be right on this. IIRC I spent about 30 or so on the fill neck.

Here is the part umber I used. 15040338
