Hope I'm on the right forum. Long story short. The dealer had problems with cp3 and replaced all injectors and cp3. Now when it is in the cold mode it smokes and misses. Once it warms up and out of the cold mode, it runs fine and the tech II shows there isn't anything out of normal. The tech said that his tech II won't read the injectors in the cold mode like the newer model engines will.
Since it didn't do this until the cp3, fuel pressure regulator, and injectors were replaced, is there anything else or another way to look at the injectors while its in this cold mode? It's really stumping him and stumping me.
The tech really seems to know what he's doing, just caught in one of those problems never run into before. Any help would really be appreciated.
Also, will the EFI live be able to check the balance rates, return rates and whatever else would be needed to find my cold smoking and missing problem? I'll buy one if it will tell what the tech II won't.
