LB7: LB7 egr valve

hey i am new to forum, and have been getting some conflicting info on egr block off / finger stick for my truck, i wish to do the mod, but then someone tells me all i have to do is block off, no stick on my 03 model year.??? i am going to be putting on ait intake, 4" exhaust and edge programmer juice with attitude monitor, mostly to use for towing and economy, and i dont want to deal with the check engine light issues

if i dont have vac pump, does that mean i dont have egr at all?

I'm pretty sure if you dont have a vac pump on an LB7 you dont have an EGR.

If you do so happen to be a lucky egr'd LB7 you'll need a finger stick. EFI Live can shut off the CEL, Edge will not.

dont see an egr, i would have to assume it would be in the usual location in front of motor, so i guess i dont have to worry, thanks for replies
