LB7 EFI Live boost considerations

I know there are other things involved in the equation fuel, timing, etc.. BUT... I'm going to ask a dumb question... If I'm running 40psi max boost actual, when I go into my desired boost level table (egr off) should I replace my highest valued cell showing (35.5) use my highest value (37) and blend from there?

This will probably be called a dumb answer, but I would go into Engine Diagnostics>DTC Test Enablers and DTC MIL Enablers and disable everything having to do with boost, and go by the gauge. The desired boost tables are useless on an LB7, especially with an aftermarket turbo.

Only time i modify the boost tables in an LB7 is to get rid of codes , no other gain to be had if your not popping codes .

You will want to have notification of overboost, to save equipment in the event of a malfunction, wastegate or otherwise. Having a fairly accurate boost table, and keeping the disparity table stock, along with some of the DTC's will preserve this.
