Hey guys,

I'm curious as to what you're seeing mileage wise with your diesel Dually. Loaded or unloaded. I just finished my landscaping season and not wanting to just take the winter off, I took a contract with CAT delivering various equipment. Its not very big loads, maybe a 1500lb. load in the bed at most. I never really calculated my mileage while working with the truck in the summer but as of yesterday, when I started with CAT, I fueled up the truck and am going to hand calculate the mileage. I also treat every tank of fuel with Power Service. I think it helps a bit. Thanks for your input.

Empty doing 70mph I would get about 17-18mpg depending on the wind. I also didn't have tuning for my setup; Stock transmission and IHI turbo.
Pulling the rockcrawler up to Canada beginning of the summer I was getting about 10 - 12mpg. About 4000lbs but it tall so it didn't help with aerodynamics, haha.

Driving back to Canada on Saturday pulling an empty 20ft car trailer I was getting 15mpg doing 73mph; built transmission and S366. Same tuning as when I had the stock transmission and IHI; EGT's were kind of high for cruising.
