Need to replace my cp3, core is junk acording to Industrial Injection, has severe scoring on the plungers and walls.

Who has the best deal on a new cp3?

I would like to do a modded lbz pump, but I think having to use efi-live to change the fpr tables will screw me for smog purposes. I'm in comifornia and it has to pass smog.

Will it run with a lbz pump with stock lb7 fpr tables and not kick a check engine light?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Edit.... I'd like to do an efi-live tune later, just need to get through smog testing first.

Since you do not specify any mods to your truck, I'll assume you simply have a stock truck or have very minimal perf additions.
That said, you do not need to run any sort of modded pump in your situation. Dont let someone sell you something you do not need.
Just buy a replacement stock pump from the vendor of your choice after you do your own research on pricing.
IIRC, most CP3s being sold nowadays are LBZ-type, you just use your LB7 regulator. No tables to modify.

Sorry for lack of info. Yes, minimal mods. lml driverside manifold, PPE boost valve, PPE 225hp tune, Airdog lift pump, CAT filter mod, SB air intake, 5" exhaust, high flow turbo horn

previous owner did "trans mods", but can't verify them, converter looks stock and shift feel seems stock.
