Question: LB7 cp3 problems

I have a stock motor truck that needs a FPR ( it has had the lopy idle syndrome for awhile now) and i noticed shortly before the lope started rail pressure started dropping off at wot. I am wondering if the fpr can cause my low rail pressure? or did something go wrong and im gonna need a new cp3? I am only seeing 15k psi at wot

I have the same issue, can't hold rail pressure at stock ipw. I bought a used cp3 off of a wreked truck, hoping this solves the problem. I have no top end power, how about you?

If you unplug fpr, what kind of pressure do you have?

I changed the filter to see if that was it when i first noticed it... didnt fix it... plus it does have the lopey idle. Im gonna try and unplug fpr tonight

Truck loses power on top end bad... i have another cp3 sittin here as well, just need to find out if i can fix the problem with out replacing the whole thing.

Haha i'll be doin that here soon! Have the cp3 just need the mounting kit for it. But i'd like to fix the problem at hand first so i know the cp3 in the valley wont go bad on me :thumb:

ok finally got a chance to unplug the FPR and i got 25k out of the pump... so pump is good just need a good place to get a modded regulator. Any suggestions? I'm leanin towards wicked diesel....
