LB7 Boost pressure value in EFI Live

My tuner says I'm only making 20 psi on a max effort tune log that I sent him. Could someone explain how the boost pressure pid's work in efi live concerning lb7's. I have a manual boost gauge on the wastegate line that shows the turbo is making 32 psi, and I verified there aren't any leaks in the boots or intercooler.

Thanks!

I don't have my laptop on me but I believe it was actual boost pressure ACTBOOST or something in V7.5.

LB7's are only meant to read 37 absolute pressure with stock sensor scaling, and I believe the max the boost tables can be set to run is 37 absolute as well. So at sea level(14.7PSI), it can only read to roughly 22 PSI of boost before the sensor and ECM max out.

I looked at the log again and noticed that the baro pid says that it is an invalid pid. It must not be reading it right on v 7.5 because it moves around from 3 psi to 11. This must be the cause for my incorrect actual boost reading. The boost dma pid shows up to 44 psi though. If someone could take a look at the log quick I can send it to you.

I noticed on my CTS Monitor, Just rolling down the road I dont make anymore then like 5 psi... But if I give it alittle more throttle, I do see some 12psi + but then it drops back down to 1-2psi (according to the monitor)... Kinda weird

That's normal. Boost is in direct relation to how much fuel and load is on the engine. Put a trailer behind it and head up a hill, and you should be able to see 18+. At cruise I rarely see more than 2 PSI, but even with a stock wastegate setup I see 22-23 when I romp down on it(this will soon be higher with a KENNEDY boost valve).

I see, thanks for the info.. I just picked up this CTS and learning how to use it and such.. But man this forum is good on Info..
